Bring Your Own Object

Got something we didn't think of? We thought that could happen.  So, that's what this listing is for. If it's a mostly flat object where you want printed and fits on the print bed, we can probably put full-color UV graphics on it. RC truck bed and body panels, tool boxes, lids, plaques — if you've been told "nobody prints on that," bring it here. (Scale parts, to be clear — at 16"×12" max, your full-size tailgate won't fit.)

How it works

1. Add this to your cart and check out as normal, no charge.
2. Reply to your order email with photos of your part, rough dimensions, how many you've got, and your artwork, or tell us you'd like design help (nominal charge).
3. We'll give you a straight answer on whether it'll print well, and a quote. Custom work starts at $25.
4. Approve the quote and your proof, and we'll send an invoice you can pay right through the store.
5. Ship us the part. We print it and ship it back usually about 6–9 business days from the day we have both your approved proof and your part in hand.

What prints well

• Rigid or semi-rigid parts with a mostly flat print face. Truly floppy is worth asking about — sometimes yes, sometimes no.
• Bare metal is welcome. We stock an adhesion promoter that bonds ink to anodized metals, raw aluminum, and raw steel.
• Clean, dry, and bare. No wax, oil, or armor-all — ink sticks to the part, not to whatever's on it. Extra charge for cleaning if heavily dirty.  We expect to IPA wipe it.
• Up to about 16"×12"x3" is maximum size.

What we can't take

• Working electronics. Servos, ESCs, receivers — we can't test them before they arrive, so we can't take responsibility for them. What we can do is sell you one of our servos with your graphics already on it — see the custom options on any servo we carry.

The honest fine print

• We inspect every part when it arrives. Some plastics just don't hold ink well like TPU. If youre not sure what its made of but want to "risk it", send it in we'll tell you straight, refund the invoice, and send the part back (you cover shipping both ways).
• If a print goes wrong on our end, we'll redo it or refund the print charge. We can't replace your part, so please don't send anything you can't live without.  Total failure is extremely rare but bubbles, miscolored prints, etc can happen from time to time.  We can often cover them up with an additional pass but not always.
• Nothing gets printed until you've approved a proof.
• We also have a couple Bambu X1C with AMS so if you want us to print an object as well, mention that and we can price it out too. Nylon, ASA, ABS, PLA, and other filaments regularly in stock.
